Construction starts on ELAD Investments’ third Dutch Logistics Hub

ELAD Investments has begun construction on a prime 12,588m² logistics building in the Tilburg-Waalwijk region of the Netherlands. This project is ELAD’s third investment in the Netherlands, forming part of the business’s programmatic expansion across Western Europe.

The Tilburg-Waalwijk region is renowned as one of Europe’s top logistics hotspots. The annual’ Logistiek’ survey of 33 logistics experts ranked it the number one logistics hub in the Netherlands in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

The site offers unparalleled access to the A59 Motorway, a crucial east-west route across the Netherlands. It is also excellently connected to Europe’s two largest ports, Rotterdam and Antwerp, both within a one-hour drive and easily accessed by boat from Waalwijk and Tilburg barge terminals. Additionally, Tilburg’s cargo railway, which operates a direct line to China three times a week, further enhances the site’s logistical appeal.

The building is being developed to Grade A logistics specifications, featuring over 11,000 sqm of warehouse space alongside parking, office, and mezzanine provisions. Sustainability and future-proofing are central to the design, with the building being developed with an off-grid power solution utilising PV panels and a battery pack as well as a number of other leading ESG credentials.
