ELAD COMPLETES SUPER-PRIME LOGISTICS SITE IN ROTTERDAM
ELAD Investments has successfully completed the construction of its super-prime logistics project in Rotterdam, adding a substantial 40,000 sqm of warehouse, office, and mezzanine space to the market. The Ridderkerk logistics building is successfully 100% pre-let to a global multimedia company.
The site, acquired in 2020, is strategically located in Ridderkerk, west of the Port of Rotterdam, Europe’s largest seaport and a renowned hub for warehousing and industrial activity. The area is home to several major occupiers, including DHL, Yamato, and Alstom, further cementing its status as a prime location for logistics operations.
Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, the third largest cargo hub in Europe, can also be reached in one hour by car, and the A15 and A16 motorways, which provide access to Germany and Belgium, are in close proximity.
In alignment with ELAD Investments’ dedication to sustainability and climate-positive initiatives, the new asset has been developed with the goal of achieving BREEAM Excellent certification, EU Taxonomy alignment, and with power generation in part from on-site PV panels.
This expansion in Rotterdam is a key component of ELAD Investments’ extensive logistics portfolio, which now includes 17 assets, encompassing both stabilized buildings and developments in progress. With a strong presence in the European logistics market, the company has developed and manages over two million square meters of space across seven countries.
